PGW Timberwolf

.338 Lapua Magnum bolt-action sniper rifle
PGW Timberwolf .338 Lapua Magnum bolt-action sniper rifle, built by FeralX under licence
Overview

Selected by the Department of National Defence in 2005 as the C14 Medium Range Sniper Weapon System, the Timberwolf doubled the Canadian sniper’s effective range to 1,500 m. It has been in Canadian Armed Forces service for more than 20 years and is fielded by allied forces.

FeralX builds the Timberwolf under licence from PGW Defence Technologies, to the same in-service drawings on automated cells, so fleets keep their manuals, tooling and training. Production, spares and armourer support run on FeralX’s Ontario floor under Steve Altstadt, former President and Lead Designer of PGW.

Proven in service

Built to the drawings

Sustainment

Spares by echelon for fielded fleets, barrel and bolt replacement at unit and depot level, and armourer courses.
