.338 Lapua Magnum semi-automatic sniper rifle
Direwolf .338 Lapua Magnum semi-automatic sniper rifle, produced by FeralX in Ontario
Overview

PGW’s semi-automatic .338 Lapua Magnum, produced by FeralX in Ontario under licence. Purpose-built for the cartridge rather than scaled up from a smaller pattern: bolt-action accuracy with the rate of fire of a semi-automatic, on the same logistics chain as the Timberwolf.

Sniper teams have carried two rifles because no single weapon gave them both reach and rate of fire. An accurate .338 semi-automatic collapses that into one, with the same accuracy standard as the Timberwolf.

One rifle, both roles

Sub-1.0 MOA with recommended ammunition and semi-automatic follow-up shots to 1,500 m.

Common logistics

Shares the .338 LM ammunition and sustainment chain with in-service Timberwolf fleets.

Sustainment

Spares by echelon, unit-level barrel replacement, armourer training, and operator, unit and depot publications.
